How does it work?
Calling all filmmakers! This is your chance to showcase your boldest work and capture the attention of the industry at the debut SXSW London Screen Festival. We will be accepting submissions for two categories: Short Films & Music Videos.
- Submissions Open: 28 October 2024, 9:00 AM GMT
- Regular Submissions Close: 31 January 2025, 11:59 PM GMT
- Late Submissions Close: 28 February 2025, 11:59 PM GMT

Short Films
SXSW London welcomes short films—up to 30 minutes in length, including credits—across drama, animation, documentary and artists' films, regardless of production technique, form or budget.
Projects must be completed after 1 December 2023 and should not be available for streaming online in the UK (whether free or via an on-demand service) prior to SXSW London 2025.
Music Videos
We welcome music videos of all genres and styles, with no restrictions on length. The project must be the official music video for the song, and its creation must be approved by the artist or label.
Projects must be completed in 2023, 2024 or scheduled for completion by March 2025, and they may have already premiered online prior to the festival.
